The Chattanooga Area Model Railroad Club (CAMRC) was formed on March 30, 1969 by a group interested in model railroading and promoting the hobby. We are a growing club and expect to do a lot with and for the area modelers in the coming years. Along with the layout at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo, we have HO and NTRAK modules.
Read the information below for an idea of what our club does and check out the various links. If you are you interested in joining with us, a membership form is available at http://www.camrc.org/Doc/camrc_membership_form.pdf. As with any club, we have an organizational structure and guidelines so that we can function and reach our goals without tripping over each other. Those are available at http://www.camrc.org/absolutenm/templates/docs.aspx.

Saturday, June 7 - CAMRC Picnic at the EPRR
Posted: 2008/03/24
Saturday, June 9, 11 am to 5 pm EDT, or 10 am to 4 pm CDT- CAMRC Picnic at Eagle Point Railroad near Dunlap, TN - It takes 1-½ hours to get there so start early. The EPRR have been kind enough to let us enjoy our picninc at their location again this year. Driving instructions and map will be posted later.
Bring drinking water, Family Radio System transceivers (if you have them), bug spray and weather appropriate clothing. The steam engines throw some soot, so if you ride behind one of them, you may get a little dirty. Please do not walk on the track or the track turnouts and please control your small children. Meat, bread, drinks, plates and eating utensils will be provided by the club, but bring a dish to share like salad or dessert. We do need an idea of how many will be coming so let Karl know.
